* Cancellations or rescheduling 24 hours or more before the scheduled appointment are free of charge
* Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may be subject to a $50 mobile service fee or up to 50% of the service cost, whichever is greater
* Same-day cancellations, no-shows, or refusal of service upon technician arrival are non-refundable
If service cannot be completed due to any of the following, the appointment is considered fulfilled and no refund will be issued:
* Incorrect or incomplete address
* Vehicle not present at the scheduled location
* Locked vehicle or keys not provided
* Unsafe or inaccessible work environment
* Incorrect or incomplete vehicle information provided at booking
* Excessive rust, seized components, or pre-existing mechanical issues preventing safe service
* So-special Mobile Mechanic reserves the right to delay, reschedule, or cancel services due to unsafe weather or working conditions, including but not limited to heavy rain, snow, ice, extreme cold/heat, or unsafe ground conditions
* If a reschedule is required due to safety concerns, no cancellation fee will apply
* We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are deemed unsafe for our technicians or equipment
By booking a service, the customer acknowledges that:
* Mobile services are performed outdoors or on-site, not in a controlled shop environment
* Some services may be limited due to space, lighting, weather, surface level, or vehicle condition
* The customer is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is parked in a safe, legal, and accessible location
So-special Mobile Mechanic is not responsible for:
* Pre-existing damage, worn components, rust, or mechanical failures
* Damage caused by seized, corroded, or previously compromised parts
* Manufacturer defects or improper prior repairs
* Damage caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer
All services are performed using industry-standard tools and torque specifications, however:
* Certain components may fail during or after service due to prior wear or condition
* Torque checks are performed at the time of service, but re-torque after 50–100 km is recommended where applicable
* No refunds are issued for completed services
* Refunds are not available for no-shows, same-day cancellations, or failed service attempts caused by customer-related issues
* Approved refunds (if any) are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days
* Services outside our primary service area may be subject to a $40 travel fee, disclosed at booking
* Travel fees are non-refundable once a technician is dispatched
By booking a service with So-special Mobile Mechanic, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined in this policy.
